Hello beautiful souls!

In today's post, I'm gonna talk about 'Bubble Tea' or so called 'Boba'! You're probably asking yourself now:"Why would she write about some random tea?" BUT...

Recently, the fist 'Bubble Tea Shop' has been opened in my city!!!

How amazing is that?!

As person, who's in love with Asia, I went to grab one bubble tea right away :)

On the first picture you can see:

1. SODA Drink: Passionfruit Soda for 4,30€ (with Tapioca Jelly)

2. SMOOTHIE: Raffaello Boboshake for 5,50€

3. SODA DRINK: Strawberry Soda for 4,30€ (with Tapioca Jelly)

***Tapioca Jelly are basically fresh blueberries,

but there are also other jellies that you can pick.

WHAT EVEN IS BUBBLE TEA?

Bubble Tea is a drink originally from Taiwan. It's also popular in China, Japan and Korea. It consists of tea (of course), chewy or fresh tapioca jelly, milk and other toppings. It has many different flavors and what is interesting is, that you can drink it as 'cold drink' or 'hot drink'. I personally prefer cold one.

And now, I'm already super excited to share with you easy bubble tea recipe!

STEP ONE: How To Make 'BOBA' = Balls On The Bottom Of Bubble Tea

1. Firstly, you will need 8 cups of water. It's important to boil them on high temperature.

2. Add 'boba' and mix them gently so long until they start to float to the top of the cups

3. Turn the heat down to medium and cook for 40 minutes

4. Now remove cups from the heat, cover them and let them sit for around 20 minutes

5. The last but not least. Drain 'boba' and put them into another smaller bowl.

6. For the end mix them into honey and set them aside for 5 minutes

STEP TWO: How To Make Different Types Of Bubble Tea

1. PLAIN BUBBLE TEA

We can make plain bubble tea with normal hot tea or if you prefer cold drinks like I do, you can also use iced tea. My favorite iced tea is 'SOLA', which I buy in Slovenia. Unfortunately, you can't buy it here in Austria, so you can use 'RAUCH EIS TEE' instead.

The other ingredients you need are ice, lemon slices and jellies.

2. MILK BUBBLE TEA

For all milk lovers out there, milk bubble tea is the best choice for you!

Here you don't need a lot of ingredients... just milk, ice, jellies and tea.

3. FRUIT BUBBLE TEA

Fruit bubble tea is my favorite! It's fresh, cold, and the best for cooling on hot days.

For this tea you need: blend fruit, milk, honey and ice.

STEP 3: Ready To Serve!

Bubble tea is finally made! Don't forget a wide straw and what is more important - don't forget to enjoy!

And here, my beautiful souls, I'm gonna end my post. Thank you so much for reading till the end! You are the best!

Before closing my post, comment down below which bubble tea is your favorite and how it tasted when you made it at home. I'm already excited to interact with you guys!

Stay healthy and see you in my next post!

With love,

Anja
